Help Massitan and her team get film equipment to continue independent female-led journalism in Mali.
Massitan Coulibaly, independent journalist based out of Bamako, Mali, needs equippment to continue shooting on-the street interviews and doing in-depth reporting on women’s issues in her country.
Her indie team of female reporters have formed the group “Africa Women’s Voice” on facebook to take matters into their own hands. In spite of the lack of paid work for journalists in Mali, Massitan and her team persist.
We are seeking funds to pay for a new iphone and vlogger kits to bring to Massitan in January of 2024.
